Throughout his life, Dad saw things and the things he saw moved him, and he captured those beautiful personal moments forever in his heart and in his art. 🧡
We lived in Spanish Harlem - an area of uptown Manhattan - from around 1960 to 1968. New York City excited Dad in an artistic way, and Central Park held a special place in his heart.
To most city residents, the city is just a bunch of buildings, cars, and crowds - but for Dad, New York stood as an endless model, always standing ready to be viewed, interpreted, and captured - from all its different perspectives. There are contrasts of size, beauty, colors, and shapes - moments of happiness, love, sadness, and misery.
On this day, Dad saw, felt, and reflected upon a romantic, timeless Central Park moment.
It's a bit of magical time-travel in this Romantic Passage. ❤️
