Description
He found it everywhere. Joy.
Two girls chase a dog across the grass. They don't know they are happy. They just are. The dog doesn't know either. That is the whole point.
On the path, a man walks alone. Steady. Unhurried.
The city rises in the backdrop — gold towers, bare branches, spring bloomings - all reaching for a blue sky.
Nine years after arriving with nothing, my father stood in this park and painted this.
He saw the girls. He saw the man. He felt the city. He knew they were the same story told two ways.
Happiness is not a place. It is not even a person.
It is what happens when you are exactly where you are.
He knew that.
He always knew that...
Happiness is everywhere if we allow it to be. 💖
