Deep in the corners of my mind stands a Snowman. A happy character brought to life by family, friends, or just me. ⛄

Dad loved painting, and he painted in all seasons. He had a special romantic relationship with snow and winter because it changed what he saw and felt in so many ways. Sometimes it created drama, other times loneliness; but in all ways, he found the love and happiness of himself reflected in the moment.

Here on this winter day long ago, he was just 40 years young, having come to America six years prior. He set up his easel in Central Park and found this loving family bringing to life THE SNOWMAN that lives forever in my heart. ❤️
