In his later years, Dad often painted indoors, particularly during winter, creating many still-lifes of flowers in the various ceramic vases he had collected. The beauty of flowers enchanted him, and Mom always had an amazing English garden to pick from. As Mom's health declined, I made sure Dad always had a steady stream of new flowers to work on.

On this day, surrounded by his books and finished works, Dad lets the magic unfold. ❤️
