A beautiful work featuring a simple, fresh summer bouquet set alongside a plate of grapes. The color combination of the flowers, grapes, vase, backdrop, and tablecloth are really quite wonderful.

For many years, I purchased and put together bouquets for Dad, but oftentimes the flowers came from Mom's garden.

As Dad got older, going outside to paint alone became more challenging and dangerous for him, and I was already working long days at my office job, often traveling. So on weekends, I would put together flower arrangements for him and those kept him busy throughout the week. We spent many hours, reviewing his work together. Each week brought a new set of paintings. It was a wonderful time, and you could say, we had a system and that system connected us. He taught me how to put together arrangements, and I learned - I learned so much about him through his beautiful artistic vision. ❤️
